Who We Are

The proposed development at 615 River Road in Edgewater is a joint venture by The Maxal Group and EnviroFinance Group of Denver. Together we make up 615 River Road Partners LLC.

Maxal is an active investor and developer of high quality real estate in the tri-state area. Current projects include a first-class residential building with 236 units and extensive amenities under construction directly on the Hudson River at 1500 Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken, NJ. EnviroFinance Group (EFG) is a leading land reuse and redevelopment company.

The 18.73 acre site that Maxal and EFG propose to develop is the former home of the Hess Corporation’s petroleum terminal that was purchased by 615River Road Partners in 2014. A thorough environmental remediation of the property was completed by Hess and 615 River Road Partners in accordance with all New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection regulations and has received a clean bill of health from the DEP. The former industrial site is now ready for development and it constitutes one of the largest remaining development sites along the entire New Jersey Hudson River waterfront.
